Established in 2001, Singapore’s Child is a monthly magazine that helps parents understand the issues and challenges that are important to them. We address your concerns and provide parents with tips on raising happy and healthy families, as well as celebrating the joys of family.

Other than useful parenting tips, we  also provide various lifestyle tips that stimulate parents’ interests such as lifestyle and products showcase, beauty tips, kid’s fashion, recipes and more.



Our companion magazine, KIDZone, is written specially for children. Filled with great reads and fun activities, it is a learning resource for children presented in an entertaining manner that will keep your child engaged. Fun-filled activities such as interesting facts, D.I.Y crafts and puzzles to keep the little ones busy.

Singapore’s Child Movie Day Out 2013 was held at Shaw Theatres Lido (Orchard) on 18 May. Subscribers of Singapore’s Child magazine together with their family members and 2 lucky Facebook fans got together on this day to catch an exclusive preview screening of Sammy 2 with free popcorn combo and goodie bag.

Everyone in the audience had a blast watching the adventures of old friends Sammy and Ray, as well as their grandkids Ella and Ricky, on their big adventure while munching on their popcorn.

Singapore’s Child Fun Day Out 2013 was held at HarbourFront Centre on 6 & 7 July, with more than 6,200 turnout throughout the event. The three main highlights of the event were I CAN READ “Page to Stage Competition 2013”, Singapore’s Child Superstar and Despicable Me 2 Meet & Greet.

I CAN READ “Page to Stage Competition 2013” is a platform for kids in Primary 1, 2 and 3 to showcase their creative writing and public speaking skills, and to build their confidence in presenting their stories in a clear yet entertaining manner.

Tapping unto a pool of 188 Primary Schools to garner participation, we received more than 100 over entries from more than 45 different schools. A free 3 hour I CAN READ “Page to Stage Workshop” will give them tips and pointers for creative writing and public speaking was held on the 13 and 14 June, followed by an Audition on 19 June. The finals were held on 6 and 7 July.

Singapore’s Child Superstar is a pageant to find cover worthy child who have the perfect combination of looks, X factor, personality and presence. Competition is open to both genders aged 3 – 9 years old. With more than 200 entries, Singapore’s Child magazine team shortlisted a total of 70 potential child superstar which was held on 22 June. Each child and their parent also receive a goodie bag worth more than $40.

From the 70 potential Superstar that we have shortlisted for the Audition, 15 have been chosen to strut their stuff on the runway, on 7 July at HarbourFront Centre.
